We are seeking a caring, motivated, and skilled Social Worker and SFO officer to join our team. This is an excellent

About the Role
As a Social Worker at AaIS, you will play an important role in supporting students’ social, emotional, and personal
development. You will work closely with teachers, families, and external agencies to ensure that all students have
the support they need to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide guidance, support, and follow-up for students
– Support individual students in a variety of learning and classroom situations
– Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school environment
– Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals
– Support and participate in the school’s SFO (School-Age Childcare Programme), including 6 weeks of holiday

We Are Looking for Someone Who
– Builds positive and trusting relationships with children
– Has a strong understanding of child development and wellbeing
– Is flexible, creative, and solution-oriented
– Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
– Has experience supporting children with diverse learning or developmental needs
Qualifications
– Minimum a relevant three-year university degree in social work, child welfare, special needs support, or a
related field
– Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
– Strong digital literacy skills
– A satisfactory police background check in accordance with Norwegian regulations
