24-25 April 2026 - Mobility in Greece

Our Erasmus trip to Greece came to an end, full of experiences and adventures. On Thursday and Friday, we learned about the flora and fauna, as well as the economic activity, in the Pieria area. We also had the opportunity to collect trash at Paralia beach. Although we are sad to leave, we are proud of everything we have accomplished here. We also received our certificates. We are looking forward to more adventures with Erasmus+.

23 April 2026 - Mobility in Greece

On Wednesday, we travelled to Thessaloniki for another exciting day. We visited ANAKEM, the recycling centre, where we learned how waste is separated and how important it is to protect our environment through reusing and recycling. We enjoyed this experience together with the Spanish and Greek groups. After our visit to the centre, the students had some free time to explore the city of Thessaloniki and enjoy a little shopping. To end the day, we made dinner and enjoyed watching a movie!

22 April 2026 - Mobility in Greece

What an incredible start to our Erasmus+ mobility in Greece!

We began our journey on Sunday with a long day of travelling, full of excitement for the days ahead. On Monday, we finally met the Greek and Spanish groups, and it was such a wonderful day. We took part in ice-breaking activities, got to know each other better, and presented our school, as well as our carbon footprint presentations. We also shared suitable ideas and solutions to help improve sustainability at our school, AaIS. To end the day, we enjoyed some relaxing time at the beach together.

On Tuesday, our adventure continued with a visit to Litochoro and Mount Olympus. There, we worked together to collect rubbish and take care of the environment, putting our Erasmus+ values into action. Later, we finished the day in Katerini, where we had great fun bowling with the Spanish and Greek groups, followed by an amazing dinner all together.

The adventure will continue tomorrow!

August 2025 - Exciting News!

We are delighted to announce that our Erasmus+ project has been officially approved! This is a fantastic achievement for our school and an exciting opportunity for our students, teachers, and wider community.

Our new project, “Let’s Be Green!”, will focus on sustainability, environmental awareness, and working together to create a greener future. Through this inspiring partnership, our students will collaborate with two wonderful European schools:

Luisa de Marillac in El Puerto de Santa María, Spain
Platon Schools in Katerini, Greece

This project will bring unforgettable learning experiences, cultural exchange, and international friendships. Students will have the chance to share ideas, explore environmental challenges, and discover how young people across Europe can make a positive difference.

Project Highlights:

Spring 2026 – Greece – Our first mobility will take place during this school year, giving students the opportunity to travel, learn, and experience another culture.
October 2026 – We will proudly welcome our partner schools to our campus and share our community, traditions, and sustainability initiatives.
Spring 2027 – The project will conclude in Spain with a final meeting and celebration of everything we have achieved together.

We are incredibly proud to be part of this European journey and cannot wait to begin this adventure. Let’s Be Green! promises to be a project full of learning, friendship, innovation, and memorable experiences.

Stay tuned for updates as we begin this exciting Erasmus+ adventure!
