We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, reflective and highly motivated educator to join our team in a full-time position teaching both Mathematics and Integrated Science within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to inquiry-based learning,
international-mindedness and the holistic development of students.
Key Responsibilities
– Teach Mathematics across relevant MYP year levels
– Teach Integrated Science within the MYP framework
– Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB philosophy
– Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration and curriculum development
– Support student wellbeing and foster a positive learning environment
– Integrate innovative approaches such as STEM, STEAM, digital tools or design thinking
Qualifications and Experience
– Relevant teaching qualifications in Mathematics and Science
– Norwegian national requirements: minimum 60 ECTS (or equivalent) in Mathematics
– Experience teaching in an international or IB school is desirable
– Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs
– Strong classroom management and organisational skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– A high level of cultural awareness and commitment to international-mindedness
– A reflective practitioner with a growth mindset and strong professional ethics
– Experience with STEM, STEAM, ICT or digital learning tools is an advantage
